The North Brunswick First Aid and Rescue Squad (NBFARS) was established in 1955 by a group of dedicated community members who recognized the need for reliable emergency medical and rescue services in North Brunswick Township, New Jersey.
For over seven decades, NBFARS has been a cornerstone of community safety, responding to thousands of emergency calls each year. Our all-volunteer team is made up of remarkable everyday people who, with the right training, equipment, and courage, save lives every day.
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, NBFARS operates entirely through the support of community donations and the selfless dedication of our volunteer members. We receive no tax funding for our operations.
